My dream job – Elite soccerplayer
When I grow
up I would like to play soccer for a living.
I have
always loved soccer and I have played it since I was five years old. I know
it’s very difficult but I would at least like to try.
If I’d
become a soccer player on an elite level I dream to play in USA because they
are very successful and I believe they have very talented and good players.
If I played
in USA I definitely would live in Chicago, New York or Los Angeles just because
I think they have very beautiful surroundings and cool places to visit.
I would
love to live in a flat that’s pretty high up (floor 10 or higher) and with many
big windows so my apartment would be very bright and clean.
I would
love to have a gym just outside my apartment so I could go and work out and
later train football.
I don’t
think there’s a specific education you HAVE to go to become a soccer player. .
But I believe you have an advantage going to a high school with a specific soccer
education. Going to a school like that you
don’t just get to play soccer, you also learn a lot soccer theory and what kind
of demands the trainers have on their players.
You probably also learn a lot mental training, since you have to be able
to do well even if you are very nervous. You also learn more about which
attitude you must have against the other players in the team and always to show
respect.
I believe
that if you want to become a soccer player and make money on it, you have to be
very passionate about it and enjoy training different kind of qualities.
I really would
like to be able to live on my hobby, I unfortunately, I don’t believe that it
will happen. So probably I would have to have a side job, or something like
that. I think I would study while I’m playing soccer so I can get a more solid
job whenever I want.
I know I
must train a lot, always be single-minded and always do my best. Even if I get
an injury I have to continue to train, but then I have to train different.
I believe
that if you really want to be a pro, you have to be very single minded. But I don´t think that is enough, I think you
need to really love playing soccer and find a great deal of happiness in doing
so. You need a great drive to become really good.
I don’t
know if becoming a soccer player will be my dream in 5 – 10 years, but right
now I still find joy and happiness by playing it, and that’s honestly the most
important thing for me. To earn money and become a pro is just a side thing for
me right now.
